Icopal Danmark a/s acquires OPTILITE a leading Danish producer
of skylights and fire ventilation systems.
OPTILITE will be a valuable platform for Icopal's further growth in the market for skylights and fire ventilation in Denmark, and the new member of the Icopal Group will contribute with unique know-how to other Icopal business units. Icopal already operates similar activities in Sweden (Brave/Svita) and Poland (AWAK). The acquisition supports the Group strategy to be the leading company in roofing products and services in Europe, and it strengthens the position of Icopal in Denmark as the market leader for quality roofing solutions.
OPTILITE is located in Horsens, Denmark, has achieved a turnover of approximately 5 Million EUR in 2009 and has 30 employees.
