Environmentally conscious production processes

All Icopal production sites live up to high environmental standards. In general the ISO 14001 standard or similar standards for environmental management are adopted by Icopal companies.
Recycling of production scrap is a key focus area in the production manangement and in the Research & Developement department of the Icopal Group. Further enhancing the focus on recycling the Icopal company Esha recently initiated a project of recycling of old bitumen roofs into new bitumen membranes.

Further to this large efforts are made to optimise energy consumption at the productions sites.
